John proudly served as a State Trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety, dedicating his life to protecting and serving others. He carried that same strength, integrity, and sense of duty into his home and family.
John was known for his humor and his ability to make people laugh. He loved deeply and unconditionally, always putting those he loved first. He found peace and happiness in the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting—simple moments that meant everything to him.
John had a deep love for the Lord and lived his life with faith, kindness, and compassion. He was known by many as a source of strength and encouragement, always ready with a kind word or a prayer.
Above all, John loved his wife, Sue Ener, with his whole heart. Their love was unwavering and strong—a true partnership and a bond that will live on forever.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sue Ener; his children, James (and wife Leigh Ann) Pyle, Teresa (and husband Randy) Parrish, Rhonda Pyle, Michael (and wife Sara) Ener, and Angela (and husband Lee) Conarroe; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Velma Ener.
