Jon Daryl Humphries

Jon was born December 21, 1970 in Lufkin, Texas, the son of Johnnye Faye (Duke) and the late James Henry Humphries, Sr. He passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 in a local hospice facility.

Jon loved all of his family. He was employed as a machinist at Lufkin Industries. He enjoyed playing pool, watching the Dallas Cowboys, cold Coronas, working on vehicles, music and muscle cars. Jon thought he was a comedian.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Humphries of Lufkin, sons, Jon Humphries (Sheylina Chacon) and Justin Humphries (Lexie Lambert), all of Lufkin; grandchildren, Opal Faye Humphries and Ariella Jade Humphries; brothers, Jimmy Humphries, Stephen Humphries, James Humphries, Jr. and Joshua Humphries; sister, Tabitha Humphries; and mother, Johnnye Faye Clark

He was preceded in death by his father, James Henry Humphries, Sr.; and sister, Theresa Gayle Humphries.

Pallbearers will be Jon Humphries, Justin Humphries, James Henry Humphries, Jr., Stephen Humphries, Jimmy Lee Humphries, and Brenton Humphries.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
