June Tucker Plaag

Bunk was born August 5, 1933 in Jacksonville, Texas the son of the late Bessie Frances (Gary) and Charles Augustus Plaag. He passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016 in a local hospice facility.

Bunk loved outdoor activities, like camping, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Mary Plaag; daughters, Kathy June Reese, Jerreaca Knighton and her husband Greg, Sember Lara, Samantha Wood and Marianne Wood; sister, Maurine Plaag; nieces, Debra H. Hamilton and Carla M. Hamilton; nephew, Terry Collins; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his son, Brett Tucker Plaag; brothers, Charles Plaag and Wayne Plaag; and his sister, Wilma Milded Plaag.

Pallbearers will be Cody Hawthorne, DB Billingsly, Jerry Davis, Nathan Myers, Joey Hall and Wesley Hartley.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the Elwyn M. Gipson Memorial Chapel.
