Mrs White saw something in me that took me 34 years to realize, she was a fence in my life when I thought I was alone.  Thinking all the way back to my junior high year as her water girl she saw me.....she saw Me......and somewhere in there she decided to be something thing so profound for me that still to this day I try to make sense but growing up I realize somethings don't have to make sense but they are so.  I just want to thank Mrs White as late as I am, Thank you Mrs. White, Thank you for being light in a really dark place, all these years later I now know it was you.  I am forever grateful for you and your heart that refused to leave me in the dark.  I can't wrap my mind around what you did for me, it leaves me very full but do know I see u holding that light still and I thank you for never letting it go out, God Bless you as you Rest in Power and Peace.  I C U now finally, way to late but I feel ur love still, thank you for caring.

I met Pat over 40 years ago. We were both coaches. She had a loving, kind and giving heart then and everyday since. She served a major role in the lives of so many young people. I am sending my deepest sympathy and prayers for strength , comfort and peace during this difficult time. Your wife and mother’s love will always be with you and her legacy will live on in your heart and many others . May GOD bless you and keep you.

Majority of my high school memories are from sitting with her in her office. As the student council admin she not only counseled me on school but life.
I could talk to her about anything and I will be forever grateful. She meant a lot to me and everyone from my class. Her life was one of service and for that I know she was welcomed into heaven with open arms.

The amount of joy and love Mrs. White brought to her student’s will always be remembered. Whether you needed tough love or gentle, she’d have you on the right path when she was finished. I will cherish our many conversations and all the life knowledge she provided. For her students she may have had one title but played many roles. 

My condolences to the family. I know she devoted a lot of time and energy to her students. Thank you for sharing her with us. Her impact will be everlasting.

For almost 50 years since meeting in college, Pat and I have participated in each other’s life events, small and large. She was my Special when I pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. at Texas A&I University n/k/a Texas A&M University - Kingsville in 1978. It was befitting that she be on hand to welcome my daughter, Taylor,  into the sisterhood just as I was blessed to witness Sydney’s initiation. 
I was in her wedding when she married the love of her life, Freddie. We played monopoly many a late night waiting on Freddie to make the drive back to Kingsville on his weekends off from work, while Pat continued her studies. 
There was not a home improvement or decorating project that she and Freddie couldn’t master! Courtney and Sydney as young homeowners can attest to that. Pat and Freddie even painted and put up wall paper border in Taylor’s nursery.  
Pat touched many lives as a sorority member, devoted wife, model loving  parent, constant friend, novice horticulturist, and an educator. We should all be so loved. Her presence will be missed, but she has earned her rest with God in heaven. Take your rest dear sweet friend, and I will see after Freddie and the girls until me meet again.
