

Mass of Christian Burial for Lucille Parise, 96, of Lufkin, will be celebrated at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Marcos Ramos, M.S., celebrant. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Ms. Parise was born December 11, 1918 in Lissie (Wharton Co.) Texas, to the late Myrtle (Perry) Parise and Louis Dan Parise. She passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015.
Lucille was a lifetime and active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She was a 1936 graduate of Hudson High School. She was employed by Clark’s Department Store for 38 years as a bookkeeper/credit manager. After retirement, she was a longtime volunteer at East Texas Memorial Hospital, now CHI St. Luke’s in Lufkin.
She is survived by her sister, Katherine Parise Hayter and sister- in- law, Marie Parise. Nieces include Margaret Price of Dallas, Judy Murphy, Carolyn Hathorn, both of Lufkin, Sally Jo Parise of Rockwall, Texas; niece by marriage, Alice Hodges Parise (widow of Garland Parise); nephews include David Murphy, Charles Murphy, both of Lufkin; great nieces, Mistie, Ashley, Jamie; great-great nieces, Aislyn, Jalynn, Claire Solly and Kimber Murphy; and great nephews, Garbs Acosta, Jarod Murphy, Justin Murphy, Jason Murphy; great-great nephews, Jaxon Murphy, Jacob Bosquez and Caleb Murray.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and Louis Parise; sisters, Mary Louise Parise, Irene Parise Murphy, and Virginia Parise Hathorn; brother, Louis Dan Parise, Jr.; nephews, Garland L. Parise and Mark Childers.
Pallbearers will be David Murphy, Jarod Murphy, Ronnie Frankens Jr. and Carson Frankens
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
