Marilyn Jeanette Hodges

.Services for Jeanette Hodges 77, of Diboll, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 1, 2017 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Brad Minett officiating. Interment will follow in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery in Diboll.

Mrs. Hodges was born October 29, 1939 in Timpson, Texas, the daughter of the late Corine (Nall) and Frank Wedgeworth. She passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Hodges was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, and Meme. She enjoyed cooking, camping, fishing, and being with her family. She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Hodges of Diboll; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jay Stewart of Diboll; sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis and Gina Hodges of Burke and Harold and Jane Hodges of Pollok; grandson, Adam Stewart and wife Kourtney; granddaughter, Lexi Hodges; grandson, Ty Hodges; granddaughters, Alise Dickinson and Taylor Dickinson; great-grandsons, Kayden and Jay Stewart; sisters, Margie Bunch of Katy and Ann Harrison of Carthage; sisters and brothers-in-law, Clara and Jesse Pitts of Plantersville and Marie and Allen Mercer of Midland; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hodges was preceded in death by her grandson, Daniel Stewart; and brothers, James Wedgeworth and Bob Wedgeworth.

Pallbearers will be Adam Stewart, Tom Harris, Luke Holcomb, Sterling Hodges, Albert Hendrix, Hollis Mott, Charlie Mann and Jackie Lewis.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
