Steven Glen Dew

Mr. Dew was born February 21, 1952 in Lufkin, Texas, the son of the late Retha (Staton) and Elbert Roy Dew. He passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at his residence.

Mr. Dew was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother; and especially loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was retired from Renfro Packing, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He was a member of Crosstimber Cowboy Church.

Survivors included his wife, Theresa Dew of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Manuel Hardesty of Lufkin; son, Cody Dew of Lufkin; grandchildren, Dustin Hardesty, Cheyenne Hardesty, Hunter Dew, Chloe Dew, and Madline Dew; great-grandchildren, Mia Johnson, Tanner Johnson, and Aidden Hardesty; brothers and sisters-in-law, Randall and Brenda Dew, Kevin and Shawna Dew, and Phillip and Kim Dew; and best friend, Roy Wade.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Dew was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Joe Dew; and great-grandson, Kaden Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Turley, Roy Wade, Manuel Hardesty, Dustin Hardesty, Hunter Dew and Brayden Renfro.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larimy Renfro and Cody Dew.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 at Gipson Funeral Home.
