

Thomas Jefferson Camp, 83, of Hudson, was born October 6, 1928 in San Antonio, Texas, the son of the late Anita Hope (Passailaique) and Jack Camp. He passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Camp was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He had a keen sense of humor and used it daily. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He served his country in the United States Navy and retired from Santa Fe Railroad following 35 years of employment.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Oleta Camp of Hudson; daughter, Judy Becket of Hudson; granddaughter, Andrea Acord of Hudson and 2 wonderful grandsons, Ryan and Jacob. Other family members include Sue Fish, Sherry Fish, Jonathan Gassiott and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Camp was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill Fish and Andy Fish.
The Camp family wishes to thank Sarah Sterling, Heather Thrash, especially Tia and Lynn at A Compassionate Home Health, Dr. Roby and nurse Connie, John Weeks and Beth Fisher OT/PT therapy. Also friend and personal caregiver Rachael Dempsey. These people were loving and caring to Thomas, took wonderful care of him, and gave support to the family.
Services for Mr. Camp will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012 in the Elwyn M. Gipson Memorial Chapel in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
