

Mr. Lilley served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked for Abitibi Papermill and retired from Redland Water. He loved the "outdoors", deer hunting, trips to the beach, and watching the Dallas Cowboys and Lufkin Panthers. He was a member of Redland Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Lilley of Lufkin; daughter, Morgan Lilley of Plano; son, Travis Lilley of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Jim Stone of Houston; brothers and sister-in-law, Floyd Lilley of Hudson and Maxie and Jackie Lilley of Diboll; sister-in-law, Judy Lilley of Diboll; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Orvell and Jenice Molandes of Lufkin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William and Sharon Molandes of Lufkin; sister-in-law, Kimberly Molandes Slaten of Lufkin; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lilley was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Gene Harrell; and brothers, Wilbur Lilley and Richard Lilley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Floyd Lilley, Maxie Lilley, Jim Stone, David Ashby, Mike Nichols, Damon Walters and Kenneth Lambert.
Graveside services for Mr. Lilley will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2011 in the Campground Cemetery in Tyler County, with Bro. Fred Smith officiating.
The family will receive loved ones and friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
