William Boyd Yarbrough

Services for William Boyd Yarbrough, 74, of Lufkin, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Victory Assembly of God, with Pastor Lloyd Thurman officiating. Interment will follow in the Newman Cemetery.

Mr. Yarbrough was born February 22, 1942 in Grapeland, Texas, the son of the late Allie Mae (Moore) and Nooland Pinkney Yarbrough. He passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Yarbrough was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a self-employed machinist and truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include his sons, Farren B. Yarbrough and wife Abby of San Antonio, Tracy Lee Yarbrough of St. Petersburg, Florida, Shanon Yarbrough of Kingwood and Shawn M. Yarbrough of Zavalla; grandchildren, Wyatt Yarbrough, Shaylie Yarbrough, Ashly Renee Yarbrough, Macy Makena Yarbrough, Jacob Daniel Yarbrough, Shelvie Elizabeth Yarbrough, Chloe Isabel Yarbrough, Hannah Rachelle Yarbrough, and Aaron Boyd Yarbrough; sister, Audrey S. Chapman; and brothers, Curtis Wayne Yarbrough and Carl Yarbrough.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Yarbrough was preceded in death by his first wife, Shelvie Jean Borden Yarbrough; second wife, Delva Yarbrough; and brothers, Anson Yarbrough, Marlon Ray Yarbrough, and Virgle Lee Yarbrough.

Honorary pallbearers will be all family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
