

He was the beloved husband of Mary A. (McCracken) Mailloux, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage.
Born in Tewksbury, he was the son of the late Albert L. and Pearl (Santerre) Mailloux. He graduated from Lynn Trade High School, Class of 1963.
Al served in the Naval Air Reserves for six years. He was a field engineer for I.B.M. in Boston for 28 years before retiring. He then worked for several years at the EZ Shop in Lynn.
Al was an avid hobby photographer and member of the Lynn Camera Club and the Mass. Audubon Society. For several years he was an active member of the Lynn English Football Boosters Club and a Boy Scout Troop Leader for St. Joseph’s Church Troop #41. He was also a communicant of St. Pius V Church.
In addition to his wife, he leaves three sons Paul A. Mailloux of Lynn, Phillip Mailloux and his wife Jill of Peabody and Peter Mailloux of Lynn, two grandsons Aidan and Benjamin Mailloux, a brother Donald Mailloux and his wife Debbie of Rockland, MA, two sisters Donna Mailloux and Debbie Mailloux both of Lynn, two aunts Shirley Mailloux of Lynn and Irene Poland and her husband John of East Warwick, RI, a longtime friend Robert Kershaw of Nahant, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Visitation will be held on Friday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn, followed by a Memorial Funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church at 10 AM, and burial of ashes in Pine Grove Cemetery.
