Born in Cambridge to the late Roy and Addy Rasmussen, Anita grew up in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1980; and later raised her family in Salem. She enjoyed sunny days at the beach listening to music, and cherished her time spent with her family and friends.
In addition to her sons, Anita is survived by her grandchildren Olivia, Lylah, Daniel and Christian. She is also survived by her brothers Roy, Jimmy and Bobby; and her nieces Christina Rasmussen and Alana Rasmussen. She is predeceased by her parents and her brother Larry.
Visitation will be held for Anita of Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM.
