

Beatrice was born in Lowell, daughter of the late William and Mary (Teague) Dyer. She was a graduate of Charlestown High School Class of 1935. She lived in Charlestown and South Boston before moving to Lynn 45 years ago.
Beatrice worked as a Waitress at the Thompson Spa for many years until her retirement in 1978. She also worked at the former Saugus General Hospital.
She was a member of the Bond Street Tenants Association and also enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her three loving children, Philip E. Askew and his wife Margaret of Salem, Diane M. Johnson and her husband Michael of Middleton and Janet R. Rybicki-Baird and her husband Dave of Chelsea. She was the mother in law of Jane Askew of Lynn. Also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Henry “Rick” Askew, grandmother of the late Daniel J. Rybicki and sister of the late William B. Dyer.
Beatrice’s Funeral Services will be in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Friday at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 3-7 PM. Gifts in her memory may be made to the Daniel Joseph Rybicki Memorial Scholarship Fund at the North Shore Community College 1 Ferncroft Rd. Danvers, MA 01923.
