

Age 26 of Peabody, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, September 1, 2016. He was born on February 4, 1990 in Salem, the son of William P. and Catherine A. (LeBrasseur) Burgess. He was raised and educated in Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 2008. He had played both linebacker and offensive line all 4 years in high school.
Brendan had worked the past few years as an entertainer / tour guide at the Chamber of
Terror in Salem. He loved everything about the City of Salem, especially the city’s vast history. He will be remembered as “quite the character”, who always had a great sense of humor and was always pulling pranks on his friends. He was a huge movie buff who also liked to listen to Heavy Metal music. He always enjoyed going to the beach and enjoyed swimming.
He is survived by his parents, William P. and Catherine A. (LeBrasseur) Burgess of Peabody. His sisters; Kelly E. Burgess and Caitlin A. Burgess of Peabody. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family also survive him. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents; Albert H. and Lois J. LeBrasseur and his paternal grandparents; Kenneth E. and Evangeline F. Burgess.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, MA 01904. Visitation will be Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 4-8 PM. Burial will follow the funeral service in St. Joseph Cemetery in Lynn.
