Ms. Carole A. Corrao

Carole was born in Lynn on May 3, 1943 the daughter of the late Michael J. and Eleanor R. (Acorace) Corrao. She was employed with Social Services in Lynn and Boston for over 37 years, retiring in 2002. Carole was a communicant of Holy Family Church in Lynn. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She was a very generous, thoughtful and caring person who loved animals.

Carole is survived by cousins, Barbara Hyde and husband Charles of Wolfeboro, NH, Anthony Hyde of Lynn, Philip Hyde and wife Suzanne of Wakefield, John Acorace and wife Linda of Belmont, NH, Elizabeth Rigol and husband Patrick of Peabody, Louis Mangifesti of FL, Carol Acorace of Manchester, NH, Rosemarie Alfe and husband Francis of Medford, Loretta Evangelista and husband Ralph of Malden, Kevin Acorace and wife Joan, Nancy Pappas and husband Cliff, Cynthia Acorace, Anthony Acorace and wife Paula, Elena Pollock and husband Timothy. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her cousins Ronald Corrao, Joseph Acorace and Kenneth Acorace.

Carole’s Funeral will be held from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn on Monday at 9AM. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Church, 26 Bessom Street, Lynn at 10AM. Burial to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting Hours Sunday from 2-4PM.
