

Father Weber was born in Lynn, son of the late Alfred J. and Helen (Curtin) Weber. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart Grammar School, St. Mary’s High School, St. John’s Seminary and went on to receive his Masters Degree in English Literature from Boston College where he also was a Teaching Fellow.
Father Weber was Ordained February 2, 1957. He served at Our Lady of Good Council in Quincy, Our Lady of Lourdes in Revere, Infant Jesus Church in Brookline and Our Lady of Fatima in Sudbury. He served on the Faculty at St. Sebastian Country Day School. He also served as Chaplain to the Grey Nuns in Lexington, MA and later was a member of Team Ministry with Fr. Phil DesRosiers at St. Edward’s the Confessor in Medfield. Fr. Weber retired August 8, 2000 due to ill health after serving the Archdiocese for 43 years. After retiring, he helped out at several parishes including St. Joseph’s in Everett, St. Anthony Church in Sanbornville, NH, St. Joseph’s Church in Ossipee, NH and was presently assisting at St. Therese of Liseux in Sanford, ME.
He was a 4th Degree member of the Fr. Druillette and the Valladolid Council # 70 Knights of Columbus.
Fr. Weber is survived by his two brothers Alfred N. Weber and his wife Evelyn (Farrell) of Lynn and Attorney Robert J. Weber and his wife Judith (King) of Lynn; his loving nieces and nephews Alfred J. Weber, Nicholas J. Weber, Mary M. Weber Sarris, Mark E. Weber, Michele Weber-Chiappini, Robert J. Weber, Jr., Christian K. Weber, Jonathan C. Weber, Thomas L. Weber. He is also survived by several grand nieces and grand nephews and his long time friend Fr. Philip J. DesRosiers of Lynn.
He was the brother of the late Richard H. “Buddy” Weber.
The Rite of Reception will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, West Lynn on Sunday at 1:30PM to which the public welcome. Fr. Charles Weber will then lie in state in Sacred Heart Church from 2-5 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Sacred Heart Church on Monday at 11:00AM. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
