Claire I. Frye Mulcahy

Born in Lynn, she was a lifelong Lynn resident, and was the daughter of the late Charles Frye and the late Helen (Frye) Simonian.

For fourteen years she worked as a photo lab technician for Wal-Mart. She had also worked for many years as a waitress at Charlie’s Junction Deli, Lynn.

She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed trips to Foxwoods.

Claire was the mother of Michael Mulcahy of S.C., Curtis Mulcahy and his wife Dorothy of Lynn, Eric Mulcahy and his wife Diane of N.H., William Mulcahy and his partner James Moser of Lynn, Kerry Mulcahy of Lynn, Jefry Mulcahy and his wife Darlene of Lynn, Kelly Cooksey and her husband Martin of Middleton and of the late Marlen Corrigan. She was also the sister of Oakley Frye of Fla., Cora Landry of Saugus, Gloria Frye Lynn and Margaret Spinelli of Lynn, two sisters-in-law Barbara Pasquale of Lynn and Mary Flanders of Fla., 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A prayer service will be held on Wednesday at 8:00 PM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Visiting hours prior to the service Wednesday from 4-8 PM. On Thursday, a Graveside Service will be held at 1:30PM in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are invited and may gather inside the Boston Street entrance at 1:15 PM.
