

Born in Lynn, Cornelia was the daughter of the late William and Cathleen (Kane) Duffeo. She was raised by Nora Donovan in Lynn, was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and resided in Lynn before moving to Peabody 32 years ago.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as an inspector for the former Champion Lamp Company. She was an avid line dancer and taught line dancing for many years. She also enjoyed tap dancing in the senior shows. She was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church and was an original member of the Senior Military Drill of Peabody as well as the former Retired YMCA. She was an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast.
She leaves her children, William MacDonald of Lynn and Lorraine Jackson and her late husband Thomas of Peabody. She was the grandmother of Sean Jackson and his wife Lisa of NY, Keri Sousa and her husband Luis of Lynn and Kimberly Raffoul of Lynn. She was the great grandmother of Abbey Sousa and Gregory Raffoul. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Hudson.
Cornelia’s Funeral will be held from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple St. LYNN Friday at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, PEABODY at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Swampscott Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8PM.
