David "Dave" A. Marchand

David “Dave” Arthur Marchand, 68, of Lynn, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Theresa (Burke) Marchand, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage. Born in 1955, he was the son of the late Arthur W. and Marilyn E. (Doucette) Marchand.

Dave was graduate of Peabody High School, Class of 1973. He began his career as an automotive and motorcycle mechanic and then went on to work in the oil industry until his retirement in 2021. He loved boating on Lake Winnipesaukee, playing his guitar, listening to music, gardening, rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and most of all, spending time with his family.

He was the beloved father to Cherie L.E. Marchand of Lynn, Lisa Dionne and her husband Paul of Dracut, and stepson Philip O’Donnell and his wife Ellyn of Peabody, the cherished grandfather to Cody and Gryphen Dionne and Riley, Reese, Rowan, and Connor O’Donnell, the brother to Brad Marchand and his wife Stacey of Peabody and Cheryl Pascale of Peabody. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Neil A. Marchand. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Visitation for Dave will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. His Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 10:30 am in the St. Pius V. Church, 215 Maple Street, Lynn. Please meet directly at church.
