Born in Lynn, Dave was the son of the late Alphonse Putis and Virginia (Currier) Putis-Clark. He was a lifelong resident of Lynn.
Dave spent his entire life in the local taxi industry as a driver and dispatcher. He was a well-known figure around the city of Lynn and was beloved by many.
He leaves several cousins, including Marilyn (Putis) Hazel and her sons, Jonathan and Jared of Danvers and James Beaudet of Lowell. He also leaves many close friends. He was the brother of the late James Putis.
At Dave’s request, there will be no funeral and a burial and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Dave’s memory may be sent to the American Kidney Fund, 30 East 33rd St. New York, NY 10016.
