Lionel Dennis Bellerose, Jr., 58, of Lynn, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Born in Lynn, Dennis was the son of the late Lionel Dennis Bellerose, Sr. and Margaret (Venegas) Bellerose. He was the devoted brother to his “little sister,” Laura (Bellerose) Jackson and her husband Walter, a dedicated nephew and cousin, and a person with a generous heart who cherished and loved his friends.
Dennis grew up in Lynn, and although he did not graduate from high school, he worked at various jobs but always loved helping others with his unique ability to help the elderly, by walking them home after donating his time helping at Bingo halls throughout the 1980's and 90's, this was his gift and passion! He was stubborn but loved life and tried to embrace it fully with positivity and grace. He even kept up his spirits during his battle with cancer. He looked forward to weekly video talks with his sister and his friends, his deep love of nature and animals, and he had a deep belief in God. He cherished the friends he had who supported and loved him to the end of his life, especially his sister’s friends that he was able to spend NYE 2025 with including the Generre family, the Grochmal family, and the Lucas family.
A Visitation for Dennis will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. His Funeral Service will follow at 3:30 pm.
