Dolores L. Dion

Dolly passed peacefully surrounded by the warmth of family and a lifetime of cherished memories that remain in our hearts.

She was married to the late William (Bill) Dion sharing 60 years of marriage.

Born in Lynn the daughter of the late George Bruno and Sophie (Coogan) Bruno, She retired from Christian Book where she made many lifelong friends.

Dolly was well known for her annual cookout on Lake Ave and large holiday gatherings. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and her love was displayed by the many photos on her walls. She created a warm nurturing home for family, friends and anyone in need.

She enjoyed bingo, puzzles, reading, crocheting, going to casinos with Vickie, cooking for family, cruises and Disney.

Dolly is survived by her daughters, Dolores McFarlane and her husband Jackie, Melissa Frye and her husband Luke. She also leaves her grandchildren, Meaghan, Jillian, Robyn, Matthew, and Tyler.

She was blessed with many great grandchildren including, Rebecca, Scarlet, Autumn, James, Josiah, Elliora, Baby J, Ozzy, Shea, Harley, Ivy, Charis, Alithiea.

Dolly truly loved her ‘partner in crime’, Lysa Coocen.

Dolly was predeceased by her husband William, sons John and Bobby (Rocco), and her sister Vickie Denis.

A private graveside service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn.
