

Donna was born on February 18, 1960 to the late Joseph P. and Rita M. (Doherty) Legere.
Donna graduated from Lynn English High School in 1978 and Westfield State College in 1982. After college Donna moved to Jackson Heights, NY where she worked in the banking and finance industry for many years before moving to Yarmouth Port, MA where she resided for 30 years.
Donna will fondly be remembered and lovingly missed by her entire family and anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her, and will be remembered as kind, hardworking, caring, courageous, with a great sense of humor and always helping others.
Sister to her surviving brother Michael W. (Cathy), six sisters Denise S. (Lawrence, late) Clifford, Patrice A. (Vany) Vo, Judith A. (Mark) Lozier, Nancy E. (Kevin) Deady, Kathleen M. (Joseph) Crowley and Laurie A. Bogart, sister-in-law Joni Legere and brother-in-law John Bright. She leaves many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, aunts and cousins.
Donna also leaves her many friends from Westfield State (The Westies Besties), her Cape Cod family, as well as her Goddaughter Adilina Rotella.
Donna is predeceased by three brothers Joseph F., Paul E., and John G. Legere, and two sisters Sharon M. Legere and Ann L. Bright. Ironically Donna passed away six years to the day of her sister Sharon who also battled with renal disease.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 14, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her funeral service is to follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice in memory of Donna.
