Dorothy L. Holt

Dorothy L. Holt, a long-time resident of Lynn, passed away at the age of 98 on Thursday, October 5, 2017 in Grosvenor Park in Salem. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Mishel and Ann (Conkey) Mishel. She was the beloved wife of the late, Edward Holt. Dorothy was born and raised in Lynn. She worked at Premier Shoe as well as Wood Electric, helping administratively. She attended St. Pius V Church in Lynn. In her spare time, Dorothy enjoyed spending time with family as well as shopping trips and trips with her daughter. Dorothy leaves her children: Joanne Rigol, Stephen Holt and his wife, Janice, and Joseph Holt and his wife, Maryanne, and her daughter-in-law, Margie Holt. She also leaves five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Edward Holt, her son-in-law, James Rigol, her siblings: William, Herbert, and Ed Mishel as well as her long-time special friend, the late Paul Coughlin.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. LYNN on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 11 am. Visitation will be held in the funeral home prior to the service from 9 – 11 am. Burial will follow funeral home services in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lynn.
