Doug was born in Lynn, son of the late Douglas A. and Katherine (Kennedy) Wilson. He was a graduate of Lynn English High School, Class of 1967. He then went onto to UNH where he received his Bachelors Degree in Economics in 1971. He attended Suffolk University and received his Masters of Education and CAGS degrees.
Mr. Wilson was a Teacher and Administrator for the Lynn Public Schools. After retiring he worked at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett and Beverly Hospital where he was a Milieu Therapist.
Doug is survived by his two sons, Matthew J. Wilson of Peabody and Mark D. Wilson of Fort Collins, Colorado, one sister, Margaret Schenkel of Lynnfield, one brother, Thomas Wilson of Marblehead, one aunt, Gloria Dobson of Sarasota, FL, two nieces and two nephews.
Private Graveside Services were held at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, West Peabody. In lieu of flowers please make donations to a charity of your choice in Doug’s name.
