Kip was the beloved husband of Gail (Tankard) Doliber of Lynn, with whom he shared 27 years of marriage. Born in Marblehead, Kip was the son of the late Edgar and Marjorie (Page) Doliber. He graduated from Marblehead with the Class of 1968. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War and served as an police officer in Marblehead for over 30 years before his retirement.
In addition to his wife Gail, Kip leaves behind a daughter, Rachael Spina and her husband, Jimi of Shapleigh, ME a son, Edgar S. Doliber, III and his wife, Jessica of Lynn, a grandson, Evan S. Doliber, a brother, Carl “Peter” Doliber and his wife, Judy of Merrimack, NH, nieces, Tricia Moore, Tracey Doliber, nephew, Michael Doliber and sister-in-law, Joy Dubois and her husband, Tom of Beverly.
There will be no visiting hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in the spring to be announced. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
