

Born in Leominster, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Alice (Valois) Vosper. Florence was raised by her grandparents, Nelson and Alphonsine Valois in Leominster, attended Leominster Schools and was a graduate of St. Cecilia’s High School. Florence was a resident of Lynn for over 60 years.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as a stitcher in the garment industry for many years and also worked as a mail clerk for John Hancock Insurance Company. She was a Eucharistic Minister serving at St. Mary’s Church, Union Hospital and the homebound. She also enjoyed knitting and sewing for church fairs, family and friends.
Florence was the loving mother to four children; Diana Gaudet and her husband Leo of Falmouth, the late Bruce Pepper and his wife Josphine of Saugus, Kenneth Pepper and his wife Julie of Laconia, NH, and the late Donald Pepper. She was the beloved grandmother of 17 grandchildren and leaves many great grandchildren. Loving aunt to David Briggs of Rochester, NY and Denise Williams of Florida. Also survived by many dear longtime friends. She was the sister to the late Gerard Vosper and Theresa Ames.
Florence’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday at 11:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 12:05PM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday 1-4PM. Gifts in her memory may be sent to St. Mary’s Restoration Fund, 8 South Common St. Lynn, MA 01902.
