Francisco "Chico" Pacheco

Chico was born and raised in East Cambridge. He has resided in Lynn for the past 17 years and previously resided in Somerville. He was the son of the late Manuel and Mary (Costa) Pacheco.

He was a truck driver for Monarch Foods, Local 25 Teamsters for over 20 years until retiring in 1989.

Chico was a long time and active member of the Local 25 Teamsters Union. He was Past Commander of the American Legion Post 388 in Somerville and was a parishioner at St. Pius V Church.

In addition to his wife, Chico is survived by his three sons Fred Pacheco and his wife Debra, Joseph Pacheco and his wife Maria, Paul Pacheco and his wife Jodi all of Lynn, one daughter Patricia Quinn and her husband Scott of Taunton. One brother Joseph Pacheco of Cambridge, one sister Alice Costa of Rhode Island. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was the father of the late Bruce L. and Frank M. Pacheco, brother of the late Lawrence Pacheco and Mary Alphonse.

Chico’s Funeral will be from the CUFFE-McGINN FUNERAL HOME 157 MAPLE ST. Lynn on Monday at 9:30 AM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Pius V Church at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be Sunday from 2-5 PM.
