Born in Malden, Frank was the son of the late Erba F. Thompson. He was a resident of Methuen for many years.
He enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War.
Prior to his retirement, he spent many years as a general autoworker for the Chrysler Plant in Natick. He enjoyed video games and bowling and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Red Sox and Bruins.
He leaves his children, Ronald Weilbacher of CA, Michael Sullivan of New Hampshire, Mark Sullivan of Rowley, David Sullivan of Methuen and Debra Nestor of Lynn. Also survived by 12 grandchildren.
Visiting Hours in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Thursday from 3-7PM followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00PM. Relatives and friends invited. Burial will be private.
