

Mrs. Jacqueline M. “Jackie” Clifford, age 77, of Lynn, died peacefully on Thursday afternoon surrounded by her family following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Walter “Cliffy” Clifford.
Born in Lynn, Jackie was the daughter of the late Walter and Isabel (Lapointe) Coocen. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Jackie was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church and was also an avid bingo player.
In addition to her husband, she leaves her children, Michelle “Mike” Boudreau and her husband Greg, Geraldine “Gerry” Barker and Tobi Lynne Clifford all of Lynn. She was the sister of Robert Coocen of Florida, Ronald Coocen of New Hampshire, Walter Coocen of Fitchburg and Albert Coocen of Florida. Jackie was the loving grandmother of Michael, Matthew, Gregory, Alympia, Brooke, Bobbie Jo, Joseph, and McKenzie and was the great-grandmother of Rodney, Christian, Nicholas, Gavin, and Cane. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to her niece Lysa Coocen. She was the mother of the late Sandra “Sam” Scott and sister of the late Jimmy Coocen, Frederick Coocen, and Elaine Coocen. She will be deeply missed by all and forever remembered.
Jackie’s Funeral will be held from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple St. LYNN on Tuesday at 8:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church at 9:00AM. Relatives and friends invited.
