Jim led a great and humble life! It started in Brockton, MA where was born by parents of James Stephen Kane II and Kathleen Margaret Finn. He graduated St Mary's Regional High School in 1961 where he played football for 4 years, baseball, and hockey. He was a Nahant, Ma resident for 15 years and had a second home in North Conway, NH, where he enjoyed skiing with his family. He joined the ski patrol for Wildcat Mountain. Jim was an avid athlete and gave back to the community by being a coach for East Lynn Pop Warner Football, and Nahant Little League baseball.
He attended Bentley College and became an Accountant. Later in life he worked in Sales for the Leasing Frieght Industry and retired after working as Deputy Sheriff with Suffolk County, Boston.
Jim had an amazing passion for sports and compassion for people. He will surely be missed...He lived his life truely, and gave back generously. A son, a brother, a nephew, a cousin, a husband, a Dad, a Pops, and a great friend! He was always honest, loyal, true and strong. A true competitor, who enjoyed playing golf and everything he did, he never took it lightly. He also was a Harley rider and freely enjoyed visiting all parts of our beautiful country.
He is predeceased in death by his sisters, Joyce Beaudet (Kane), and Carol Monaco (Kane). He leaves behind his brother Thomas Kane from Lynn who resides in Florida with his wife, Ann. Also he leaves behind his son, James S Kane IV of Nahant who resides in NH, his daughter, Michelle Kane Griefenberg, of Nahant, who lives in Sedona, AZ with her husband, Bill and his grandson, Neil Boston; and son Douglas Kane of Winthrop, who resides in Connecticut with wife Christine and children Matthew, Grace and Aidan.
