

Jeanne Celeste (Taylor) Leath, age 86, of Attleboro, formerly of Lynn, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025. Jeanne’s life was marked by love, laughter, and an unyielding devotion to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Edith Frances (Bowzer) Taylor and Charles Bernard Taylor, her cherished grandson Christian Brisbon, her dear daughter Lauren Brisbon-Holder, and her treasured sisters Victoria Steele and Cheryl Taylor.
She leaves behind a legacy of love through her daughters, Carla Shands and Ronda Brisbon, her siblings Carol, Doreen, William, Benjamin, Marcia, Gretchen, Dennis, and Ronald, her grandchildren Taj, LaToya, Mykala, Tia, Ari, Keenan, Justin, and Jamal, as well as 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Jeanne was also adored by countless nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Born in Lynn, Jeanne’s childhood was filled with the warmth of her family and the spirit of community. She was a gifted entertainer, sharing her talents as a professional background dancer and performer, which took her across the country. Later, she settled in Attleboro, where she found joy and peace in her later years.
Jeanne’s career was as diverse as her interests. She worked as a classroom aide and lunch monitor for Lynn Public Schools, where her kindness and care touched many young lives. She also thrived as an administrator for Harvard Vanguard, supporting the OBGYN department with dedication and grace.
Jeanne’s love, compassion, and vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. We love you Ma, lovingly know as Grams, and occasionally Grammy.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
