Jennifer Ann Markee

Jennifer Ann (O’Neil) Markee, 40, of Newton, NH, formerly of Lynn, succumbed to injuries sustained in a NH motor vehicle accident on Friday, June 3, 2016. Born in Lynn on September 29, 1975, she was the loving daughter of Kevin and Helena (Pierga) O’Neil of Lynn. Jen was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. On October 30, 2004, Jen married her sweetheart, Erich Markee in Haverhill and the couple settled in New Hampshire to begin their family. She worked for some time as a teacher before dedicating her life as a mother to her beautiful daughters. Extremely crafty, artistic, and imaginative, Jen had a wonderful knack for creatively repurposing unwanted objects and making them to lovely treasures. She also had a green thumb and enjoyed tending to her garden where she grew flowers and vegetables. In addition to her husband and parents, Jen leaves her two daughters; Alayna Evelyn and Lily Ann Markee, both of Newton, NH, her step-son, Erich Markee of Georgetown, and her loving brother; Christopher O’Neil and his wife, Kayla of Swampscott. Jen was also the adored niece of Robert O’Neil and his wife, Kathy of Lynn, John O’Neil and his wife, Marilyn of Lynn, and Charlie Pierga and his wife, Pauline of Salem. Jen also leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her aunt; Nancy Wright. A Funeral Service will be held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. LYNN on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 11 AM. Interment services will be held privately. Visiting Hours will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 4 to 8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend all services.
