Born on April 6th, 1939 to the late Antonio and Mary (Arvanites) Forte. She was a lifelong resident of Lynn, graduating from Lynn English High School with the Class of 1956. Following her education, Joan worked as a Financial Analyst for the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency until her retirement.
Joan enjoyed many happy times over the years with her extended family and will be remembered for her love of animals, especially her dogs, which were her constant companions.
Family and friends are welcome attend Joan’s Funeral Service on Thursday, March 24th at 11:00 am at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 54 South Common St. Lynn MA. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan’s name to MSPCA-Angell, 350 South Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02130 or www.mspca.org
