Born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico on November 20, 1958, he was a son of Vincente Berrios and the late Julia Miranda Berrios. Jose was raised in Barranquitas, before moving to Chelsea, MA to raise his family. He was also a proud member of the United States Army.
Jose was a jack of all trades. He loved to lend a helping hand to anyone, especially when it came to handy work; he was affectionately named “Mr. Fix-It”. Jose loved to cook, dance, and was always the life of the party. Above all else, Jose loved his family, and cherished the time he got to spend with them.
Surviving Jose are his sons, Carlos J. Berrios, and Jose E. Berrios; his grandchildren, Niveyah A. Berrios, and Caeden A. Berrios; his siblings, Carlos Berrios, Hector Berrios, Carmen Berrios, and Olga Berrios, as well as many other dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Arrangements: Friends and family are invited to call at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn on Monday, June 7th from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. At the request of the family, all other services will be held at a later date.
