Joyce A. Cullivan Maribito

Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late James and Dorothea (Zinner) Cullivan. A lifelong Lynn resident, she graduated from Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1968. She received an Associate’s Degree in Child Development from North Shore Community College and graduated with high honors.

A day care provider, she owned Auntie Joyce’s Hunny Bunny Day Care in Lynn for 15 years. Prior to that she worked at Union Hospital.

Joyce was a very loving, generous and kind person. She touched everyone’s life in a positive way with an open heart.

In addition to her husband she leaves a daughter Kate Martin of Lynn, a sister Karen Searles and her husband Gary of Lynn, three grandchildren Kyle A., Hailey J. and Maximillian Martin, a niece Lisa Cullivan and two grandnieces Estrella and Juliana Cullivan. She was also the sister of the late Janice Cullivan.

The funeral will be held on Friday at 10 AM from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church Lynn at 11 AM. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Indian School, Chamberlain, SD 57326.
