Kevin James Hemeon

Kevin J. Hemeon, age 59, of Lynn passed away Thursday December 11th after a lengthy hard fought battle with cancer, surrounded by his friends and family. Born in Lynn he was the son of the late Gideon and Christina (Newhall) Hemeon. Kevin attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn Vocational Technical Institute, Auto Body, Class of 1985. He was employed as a Foreman in the City of Lynn department of Public Works where he was still employed at the time of his death. Kevin enjoyed being an avid Jeeper (with Wicked Jeeps and Off-Road Elements), fishing, going to camp, trying new foods (especially spicy ones), being Mr.Fix-It, as well as many other things.

He is survived by one son Benjamin Hemeon of Lynn, one brother Mark Hemeon of Florida, a half-sister Belinda Winslow, his Uncle Dick and Aunt Pat Newhall, Aunt Mary Green, Aunt Ruth Richard , as well as many cousins and friends, and his two faithful companions Suzi-Q & Monkey

Service Details: Kevin’s visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Wednesday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Parker Funeral Home on Thursday at 11:00 AM, followed by a burial at Pine Grove Cemetery to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
