
Lawrence (Larry) R. Bryan, 88, of Lynn, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Lawrence S. Bryan and Virginia (Mulcahy) Ahman of Lynn. He is survived by his daughter Julie Bryan of Lynn and her mother Carol Bryan of Swampscott, his longtime partner Irene Rais of Lynn and her children Anthony Loiacono, Gus Rais, and Renee Agri, his sisters Joanne LaFleur and her husband Neal of Lynn and Barbara Smith of Hampstead NH, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings Leonard (Skip) Bryan, Paul Bryan, Patricia Barrett, and Linda Watts, and his beloved little dog named Peanut.
Larry was a life-long resident of Lynn, graduating from Lynn Trade School. He served as a reserve in the National Guard and was a long time GE employee traveling around the country and overseas as a Generator Specialist until his retirement in 1993.
He enjoyed football and his weekly lunches and stops at the Hibernian with his buddy, Billy. In his earlier years, he loved a long time debate with his Green Bay Packer's friend, Walter, at the old Blue Moon Cafe. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to Larry’s Visitation on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. An In-House Service will follow at 12:00 pm. Burial to immediately follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
