

Mr. Leander "Lee" Marston, Jr., age 79, of Lynn, died peacefully on Wednesday morning in the Kaplan Family Hospice House surrounded by his loving family following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Marjorie (Stinson) Marston.
Born in Lynn, Lee was the son of the late Leander and Mary (Rose) Marston. He was a lifelong resident of the city.
He enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. Prior to his retirement, he spent over 29 years as a Machinist for the GE Riverworks.
An avid Red Sox fan, he also enjoyed woodworking, bowling, cards and trips to Foxwoods.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Deborah Hackett and her fiancé Richard Muise of Middleton, Donna Legro of Wilmington, Mark Stickney and his wife Elizabeth of Peabody, Denise Nichols and her husband Charles of Woburn, Leann Orcutt and her husband Edward of Northfield, James Marston, Rosemary Marston, Gayle Marston, Thomas Marston and Shawn Marston. He was the brother of Rose Bursey of Malden and brother in law of Ronald J. Stinson, Sr. and his wife Gail of Lynn and the late Winford Stinson, Jr. and his wife Carolyn Stinson of Lynn. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Arthur, Charles, Everett, Frank and Richard Marston and Mary French.
His Funeral Service will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Saturday at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Burial will be private. Visiting Hours Friday 4-8PM. Gifts in his memory may be sent to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St. Danvers, MA 01923.
