Louise T. Stanchfield

She was the beloved wife of the late Holman Stanchfield, with whom she shared over 55 years of marriage.

Louise grew up in Saugus, and raised her family in Lynn. She was the devoted mother of Patricia Day, Gail Gagne, Joyce Stanchfield and the late Thomas Stanchfield. She is also is survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late George and Louise (Young) Buckless, and the dear sister of Rita MacNeil. She was predeceased by 8 brothers: George, Alec, Raymond, Willard, Lloyd, Gordon, Roy and Kenneth.

Louise took great pride in her work, and was employed at the Abbott House Nursing Home for over 50 years, continuing to work until age 92! She also enjoyed spending time outside working in her garden. Having a lovely singing voice, Louise was a member of a barbershop quartet Sweet Adelines for many years.

Funeral services will be private.
