Mark Leland Bybee

Born in Harbor City, CA, Mark was the son of the late John Bascom and Marilyn Jean (McGuire) Bybee. He was a graduate of Lynn English High School and later attended ITT Technical Institute and the Berklee College of Music.

Mark was an ASC Certified Master Technician and A1 Mechanic and ran Spiro’s Energy on Chestnut Street. He was a very talented guitarist and enjoyed all facets of music. An avid sports fan, he especially enjoyed hockey as well as cars, science, computers and history. Mark enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and he was looked up to by all who loved him.

He leaves his children, Sara Elaine Mahon-Bybee and Bethany Carol Mahon-Bybee both of Lynn. He was the brother of Christian Matthew Bybee of Lynn, Royce Bybee of Utah and Shauna Bybee of California. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Elizabeth Priest of Lynn as well as many nieces and nephews, including Eric Mahon who he thought of as a son.

Visiting Hours for Mark will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday from 3-7PM followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
