

Born and raised in West Lynn to the late William and Marie (Tardiff) Morrill. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1959, and then earned her Associate’s degree from North Shore Community College. She worked for the City of Lynn for 30 years, first as a Title 1 teacher and then as a purchasing agent. She was a dedicated catechist at St. Pius V Church and volunteered for Wyoma Little League but what she loved most was spending time with her beloved husband, children, 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her husband William Clancy, her children Michael Clancy, Maureen Hoard and Christine Saltzman, her grandchildren Elisabeth Mount, Rebecca Murgo, Micaela Wilson, Matthew Wilson, James Wilson, Sarah Wilson, Grace Wilson, Michael Clancy, William Clancy, Meghan Finnegan, Erin Clancy, Katherine Clancy, Tyler Saltzman, Jessica Goss, Jillian Saltzman, Timothy Saltzman, Thomas Saltzman, and Jennifer Saltzman, her great-grandchildren Tyler West, Gabriel Mount, Benjamin Mount, Jude Goss, Niall Saltzman and Patrick Finnigan, her brother William Morrill, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary is predeceased by her brother Richard Morrill.
Mary’s visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM at St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple Street, Lynn. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lynn.
