

Mrs. Mary B. (Napierski) Mansfield, age 96, of Lynn formerly of Saugus, died Thursday afternoon in a local nursing home following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Roger Mansfield.
Born in Lynn, Mary was the daughter of the late Walter and Sophie (Nawrocka) Napierski. She attended Lynn Schools and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School and Burdett College. She was a former resident of Saugus for 28 years.
Prior to her retirement in 1976, Mary worked for Transitron as a technician for 16 years and previously worked as a bookkeeper for the Domino Sugar Company.
She was a member of the Saint Pius V Sodality, the Yorba Linda Club and was a former Girl Scout Leader.
She leaves her daughters, Diane M. Conlon and her husband Bartley and Wendy A. Mitchell and her husband Malcolm all of Lynn. She was the sister of Henry Napierski of Marlboro. Loving Grandmother of Melissa McElaney, Marianne Duncan, Christopher Mitchell, Jonathan Mitchell, Leisa Mitchell, Allison Mitchell and Jessica Mitchell. She was also the Great Grandmother of Molly, Meghan, Mary Kate and Thomas McElaney, McKenna and Mia Duncan and Kennedy Landers. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward, Stephen, Stanley, Leo and Charles Napierski and was the Grandmother of the late Michael and Michelle Conlon.
Mary’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday at 9:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Pius V Church at 10:30AM. Relatives and friends invited.
