

Born in Boston, Michael was the son of the late John and Angelina (Corigliano) Caprio. He graduated from Boston English High School and from Boston College. Michael lived in Nahant since 1971.
Michael was a veteran and served in the U. S. Army during WWII.
Prior to his retirement, he and his wife were the owners of Caprio’s Restaurant in Boston. He loved working in the restaurant business. He was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church for many years. He also enjoyed searching for antiques.
He leaves his children, John M. Caprio of Boston, and Angela Tobin and her husband James of Walpole. He was the brother of Patrick Caprio and his wife Marion of Hyde Park and of the late John Caprio. He was the grandfather of Andrea and Christine Tobin.
Michael’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday at 10:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Nahant at 11 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery, Nahant. Visitation Monday morning from 9 AM to 10:15 AM.
