Born in Lynn on February 4, 1966, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Alma (Saulnier) Barrett.
Ned worked for many years at Home Depot. He loved the Red Sox, classic rock music, and camping. He especially loved being a “Pa” and made the best French toast in the world.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his daughter Rose Barrett of Revere, his “Bonus” daughter Alyssa Lyons (Chris) of Lynn, his siblings Cheryl London (Paul) of Hull, Jim Barrett (Gina) of Gloucester, Judi Corbishley (Chris) of Lynn, and Kelly Barrett of Haverhill, and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 4-7 PM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn, followed by a funeral service at 7 PM. If you would like to send floral arrangements, the family asks that please, no Lillies. MarySue is very allergic to them. Also, we would like everyone to dress casually and wear a New England sports shirt.
