Ralph DiFillipo

Born in Lynn on July 25, 1955 to the late Armand Richard and Nancy (Andrews) DiFillipo. Ralph grew up in Lynn and graduated from Lynn Classical High School. He raised his family in Peabody and worked as a Correctional Officer at the Essex County Correctional Facility for over 10 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Lynn, MA.

Ralph loved Boston sports and loved cooking Italian food. He loved music and played in the “Tony DiFillipo Band” as a drummer and co-manager for over 20 years. He especially loved watching both of his son’s athletic games from Little League through college. He cherished his time spent with his friends and family, particularly with his sons, AJ and Dylan.

Ralph is the loving brother to Richard A. DiFillipo of Peabody, Anthony DiFillipo of Lynn, Rocco DiFillipo of Lynn, Nancy A. Pantazopoulos of Salem, NH, and Ann M. Amberman of Middleton, MA.

Friends and family are invited to call at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn, on Wednesday, June 16th from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. His funeral mass will be held at St. Pius V Church on Thursday, June 17th at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
