

Renee E. (Ackermann) Loehle, a long-time resident of Lynn passed away at Seasons of Danvers on December 25, 2025 at the age of 95. Born in Hackensack, NJ on February 8, 1930, she was the daughter of Ludwig and Marie (Clauss) Ackermann. Renee was raised and educated in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating from high school, she worked at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in NYC. On October 9, 1954, Renee married her devoted husband, Max Loehle of Manhattan, NY and enjoyed 62 years of marriage until Max passed away in 2017.
Renee was devoted to her family and spent her time raising her two sons, David and Kenneth, as well as caring for her parents. She had a wide circle of friends which she enjoyed spending time with and was an avid and talented artist, filling her home and those of her friends with sketches and paintings. Renee was a long-time active member of the First Church of Christ in Lynn, Congregational. She enjoyed the outdoors, sailing, gardening, and most of all, spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Renee is survived by her sons, David Loehle and his wife Diane of Georgetown, MA and Kenneth Loehle and his girlfriend, Maryjo Randell of Lynn and Worcester, MA. Renee also leaves her grandchildren, Eric Loehle of Los Angeles, CA, Matthew Loehle of Conway, NH and Kathryn Loehle of Somerville, MA.
The family will have a private interment service. There will be a Celebration of Life service at 10am on Sunday, January 4, 2026 in the First Church of Christ in Lynn, Congregational, 678 Lynnfield St, Lynn, MA. A light lunch will be served after the service in the church hall.
