Rita L. Waterman

Mrs. Rita L. (McEntee) Waterman, age 89, of Trinity, FL, formerly of Lynn, died Friday, November 26, 2010 in Florida following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert S. Waterman.

Born in Lynn, Rita was the daughter of the late Daniel and Deliah (Nestor) McEntee. She attended Lynn Schools and was a graduate of Lynn English High School Class of 1939. She later attended Marion Court College. She lived in Lynn for most of her life prior to moving to Florida in 2004.

Prior to her retirement in 1985, Rita worked as an Executive Secretary for the GE Riverworks for over 38 years.

She was an avid communicant of Holy Family Church, Saint Pius V Church and Saint Joseph’s Church. She was a Eucharistic Minister for many years. Rita enjoyed reading and traveling around the world.

She leaves her son, Daniel Waterman and his wife Andrea (Bogden) of Trinity, FL. She was the Grandmother of Shawn Waterman and his wife Katerina of Lynn and Duane Waterman and his wife Deanna of Florida. She was the Great Grandmother of Olivia and Alex Waterman of Lynn and Desirae and Danica Waterman of Florida. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Rita was the sister of the late Francis, Gean and Lawrence “Tiny” McEntee, Marie Keegan and Eleanor McEntee.

Rita’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Friday at 9:30AM followed by a Memorial Funeral Mass in Saint Pius V Church at 10:30AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, Lynn. Memorial Visitation prior to Mass beginning at 9:30AM.
