

Born in Arlington, he was the son of the late Christopher and Gertrude (Kelley) Kelly. He was a graduate of Arlington High School, where he was #33 when he played football.
Robert started his career at the Hood Co. where he met Marlene. He later worked as a bartender at Anthony’s Hawthorne By the Sea. He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed racquetball and skiing. He will also be remembered for his great stories about his Hood career.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his daughters: Sueann Crowley of Lynn, Janet McDonald of Yulee, FL, Pamela Whitfield of Lynn and Debra Griffin of Gloucester. He was the brother to Kay Endreas of Connecticut. He is survived by 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and also leaves his best friend, Richard Garuti and his wife Meryl. He was the grandfather of the late Chad McDonald and brother of the late Charles Kelly, Paul Kelly and Margaret O’Neill.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Memorial Visitation in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday from 4-8PM. Burial will be held in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 1251 Gorham St. Lowell on Tuesday at 1:00PM. Relatives and friends are invited to meet inside the main gate at 12:45PM.
