

Robert was born in Chicago, son of the late Erick and Edith (Eckstrom) Larson. He was a graduate of Nicholas Senn High School. He was a resident of Danvers and previously resided in Holbrook for 55 years.
He worked as the East Coast Service Manager of General Motors for over 30 years retiring in 1986.
He was a WW II Air Force veteran. He served as a Pilot and held the rank of Sargeant. Robert had many interest’s, he was a race car driver, flew airplanes and owned his own Piper Cub. He and his wife Verna enjoyed wintering in Deer Field Beach, FL and also enjoyed his lake house on Lake Winnipasaukee and was an avid boater. They also enjoyed traveling.
In addition to his wife Robert is survived by his three children Pam Larson of Swampscott, Penny Atkinson and her husband Les of Thousand Oaks, CA and Robert Larson and his wife Nancy of Michigan City, MI. His daughter in law Robin Larson of Lake Orion, MI. One sister Lois Pape of Seattle, WA. Also survived by his five grandchildren Samantha Burke, Jack Burke, Briggs Atkinson, Kris and Kyle Larson and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late William Larson.
Private Graveside Services were held at the V.A. National Cemetery, Bourne. The family has asked for donations in Roberts name to be made to the American Parkinsons Assoc. 135 Parkinson Avenue Staten Island, NY 10305.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn.
